What is events 4 good?
Events 4 Good is operated by me (Courtney King), with the help of a small group of volunteers that help with some of the event marketing material and events on the day.
The idea came about while volunteering for Cholmondeley Children’s Centre and Home & Family when I noticed that they have a constant need for funds and resources to allow them to provide the amazing services they provide in our community; both charities being significantly funded by the people of Canterbury.
This led me to decide to start up a not-for-profit charity to raise funds
on behalf of a few select charities.
Our aim & values are:
• Helping others and expecting nothing in return
• Working with Honesty & Integrity
• Raising Money to support Children and Children based charities
